1. Roomba iRobot i3+ from iRobot EVO
The iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO is a great robot vacuum with a number of innovative features that make it much easier to maintain than most competing models. The automatic bin emptying feature is among the most efficient features we've seen in a robot and it is compatible on both hard floors and carpets. automated vacuum cleaner guides you through the entire process. It is also easy to use and set up. Another feature that is impressive is the ability to go back to the spot where it left off in our tests--it did this for 77 minutes in one cleaning before running out of battery.
Unlike some of the other robovacs we test, the i3+ EVO has an automatic emptying bin that dumps debris into an external dirt compartment on its charging base when it's full. The i3+ EVO can be prevented from overfilling thanks to a self-emptying container. However it must be emptied manually at the end of each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dustbin can hold 2.4L which will last for four to five cleaning sessions.
Like the i7, utilizes state-of-the-art floor-tracking sensors to produce maps. It also allows you to navigate in neat rows. The i3+ EVO can only keep one map, whereas the i7 can store multiple. The i7 is also able to utilize its map to create no-go zones and virtual barriers, but the i3+ EVO can't.
The i3+ EVO is more effective of removing debris from the surface when compared to other robovacs that we have looked at, but it's not the most effective in cleaning edges and corners. It's also a bit less gentle on furniture, despite being fairly quiet. It was quite rough on furniture as it forced chairs away. It also made some collisions against the sides of the test bed.
2. Black & Decker Pro Q5
If you're looking to increase your collection of robot vacuums, or are just starting out with the Q5 Pro is a great option. It features an elegant design, powerful navigation, and useful automation at a reasonable cost. It's the best model for the money on the market at the moment, and it even matches the Roborock models that are much more expensive in a variety of ways.
This robot does a fantastic job cleaning bare floors and its avoidance technology assists it in avoiding furniture legs and other obstacles. It also does well on carpets and gets an excellent score in our tests on navigation. The only issue is that it's noisier than other models, and doesn't perform as well in our owner-satisfaction and predicted reliability assessments.

The Q5 Pro has a very large dust bin of 770ml which means you don't have to empty it as often as some other 2-in-1 robots. The 240-minute runtime is extremely generous when compared to other models we've examined. If the battery is low, it will automatically return to its dock where it recharges and then resumes cleaning where it was when it stopped. The model is equipped with an internal dToF LiDAR sensor to map out your home and design efficient cleaning routes. The iMop was rated highly for its accuracy and navigation. It also did an excellent job avoiding obstacles like furniture. It also has the ability to return to the base station, which is a nice feature in the event that it's running out of battery during a cleaning session.
The spot cleaning mode allows you to clean a specific area on your floor. It can also be programmed manually to follow a certain route. This is ideal for narrow hallways or stairs. In our carpet cleaning test, it performed well cleaning carpets. However, it struggled to clean rugs and carpets with longer piles.
